Alaska Rainbows and Salmon

August 3-11, 2008 we will be heading to the wild and scenic Alagnak River in Katmai National Forrest in Alaska. Get ready for the fishing trip of your life! Rainbows average 22” and up to 30”. Five species of Salmon are in the river during this time including King’s, Pinks, Coho’s, Chum’s and Sockeye. In addtiion, you have a great shot at a “grand slam” with dolly varden trout and artic grayling up to 3 pounds.

One exciting side note is that a “hike for pike” is also available. Imagine catching 30-40 pike per day averaging over 30” on the fly! Not to be missed!
